A day out at the Beach

The social visit at the blind people settlement, OIC representatives continued the journey to the Scenic Cottage (Pondok Permai) Beach. The location is pretty much close to the settlement. It was really convenient and was a good way to enjoy the long holiday. Well, actually this occasion had been planned before. Unfortunately, not everyone could go.

So, along with the mouth-watering lunch we bought before at Simpang Tiga restaurant, we enjoyed the beach and found a good cottage where we could see the terrific scenes of the glittering sand of the beach and the sea. Although the beach was pretty packed, it was still comfortable enough. Again, we were lucky to find the good spot!

Soon enough, the OIC members literally attacked the beach! LOL! They played and enjoyed their time to the fullest. The ones who didn’t feel like being wet stayed in the cottage and looked after our stuffs; well, rather than losing them I reckon.

Feeling exhausted some of the OIC members headed back to the cottage to have the meal and chat with others at the same time. All done, now, resting time! Then, play again!

Time flies while we are having fun. It was almost dusk time. We cleaned ourselves from the sand and the salt water. Next, we enjoyed ourselves with the flavorful coconut juice, with of course, good laughs and jokes. It was 5 p.m.; we hopped on to the bus and back to Medan, our home. Luckily, the traffic was not heavy although it was peak time.

All of us rested in the bus since we were worn out! Finally, at around 6 p.m., we were at the place where we gathered that morning and we headed to our own home.
